South Florida

Seeking a seasoned and professional Live In Property Manager for a large family property located 30 minutes from Vero Beach, FL. The property is a privately owned, multi-generation family ranch used for breeding cattle and seasonal hunting. Property manager will be in charge of the family’s main vacation home along with 15 other vacation houses ranging in size from 1,200 s.f. to 2,580 s.f. This is a newly created positions and responsibilities are listed below.

Responsibilities Include:
• Development of the annual budget and tracking of monthly expenses
• Hiring, interviewing, coaching and managing housekeeping and maintenance teams
• Responsible for the physical condition and maintenance of the property
• Promoting and upholding all company policies
• Perform all guest contact activities or guest request with a cordial, efficient, and professional manner while maintaining a commitment to excellence
• Ensure strict adherence to defined service standards and essentials when completing all tasks
• Ensures department reporting is completed promptly and accurately
• Oversee the property’s appearance, inventory, cleanliness, and maintenance of assigned properties
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for assigned properties
• Create and ensure completion of all work orders
• Work with maintenance to ensure all parts and inventory are ordered in a timely manner
• Perform inspections prior to guest arrivals/departures and after cleaning has been performed.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance, including but not limited to weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual inspections of both vacant and occupied housing
• Maintain vendor list and ensure positive working relationships with vendors
• Review vendor contracts and service bids
• Analyze and provide monthly reports to the management
• Analyzing and approving invoices
• Ensuring high standards of property maintenance
• Make sure maintenance tickets are closed in a timely manner
• Handling other various administrative tasks
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Skills Required:
• Must have at least 7-10 years property management experience
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays as needed
• Strong leadership and a professional image
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
• Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
• Ability to problem solve
• Must have a very high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communicator and listening skills required
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Work as a team and communicate/ interact well with other teammates
• Requires a sociable, outgoing, lively and guest service oriented demeanor
• Have a passion to make other people happy
• Hands-on experience in customer service
• Proven experience as a hospitality manager ( a plus)
• Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
• Able to lift, push, and carry chairs, tables, etc.
• Stand and move continuously for long periods of time
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA in hospitality management a plus)
