The Hazel Agency is seeking an experienced, professional Housekeeper for a lovely older couple in Roswell who will be losing their trusted housekeeper of four years. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced private-home housekeeper looking for a consistent four-day workweek. The couple resides in a well-maintained 7,000-square-foot, 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home and is seeking someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home and is willing to lend a helping hand where needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Detailed cleaning and ongoing maintenance of the home
• Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting clothing and linens away
• Ironing of clothing
• Changing and maintaining bed linens
• Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas clean and organized
• Maintaining household organization and tidiness
• Light meal preparation and assistance with basic food prep
• Care of indoor household plants
• Grocery shopping and household errands
• Driving the Mrs. to grocery shopping, appointments, and errands while she continues to recover from a broken ankle
• Assisting with the family's sweet Basset Hound and providing basic pet care as needed
• Keeping household supplies organized and notifying the family when items need to be replenished
• Helping with other reasonable household needs as they arise
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The couple is looking for an experienced housekeeper who is dependable, trustworthy, warm, and comfortable working independently. Someone who naturally notices what needs attention and is happy to assist beyond cleaning when needed will be especially well suited for this household.
Candidates must have professional private-home housekeeping experience, excellent cleaning and laundry skills, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and verifiable professional references.
Must be comfortable with dogs and willing to assist with light meal preparation, errands, and driving.
This is a long-term position with a lovely couple who greatly valued their previous housekeeper and are hoping to find another dependable person to become a trusted part of their household.
Compensation: Negotiable Based On Experience
