A mature couple is looking for a private house manager who will be responsible for overseeing the general operation of the estate home. This position deals with esteemed, distinguished, and executive-level professionals. Must be trained in social etiquette and formal service. This is a live-in position (apartment located above two-bay detached garage). Couple prefers a female for this position.
DUTIES:
Supervise two full-time housekeepers in their daily duties of cleaning the
residence and participate when necessary
Managing the household’s schedules
Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising the project
Oversee outside vendors working in the home
Arranging calendars and appointments for family personal and professional
needs
Event planning, organizing, and coordination
Assist with travel arrangements
Willing to travel for annual extended stay in New York during July and August. Coordinate with the Caretakers in Florida and New York on matters needing
attention from time to time
Additional occasional travel with the family to assist in the operation of out-of-state residences
Must be able to work occasional weekends, as required
Assist in coordinating and serving at formal dinner parties
Shopping for food, supplies, and other requested items
Meal planning/cooking on occasion
Running errands and performing necessary tasks
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFIED SKILLS:
Must have strong moral character, integrity, and be respectful of privacy and
confidential matters
Must have an authentic and servitude mindset
Managerial experience, preferably in a highly professional and hospitality
environment
Good knowledge of cleaning methods and the proper use of cleaning supplies
and equipment
Good planning and organizational skills
Skilled in serving formal dinners with professional etiquette
Floral arranging
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Compensation: $120,000/year plus summer & holiday bonuses, health insurance & 401k
