Busy high profile philanthropist has an immediate need for a seasoned Personal Assistant that has some bookkeeping experience. Ideal hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Client is flexible and will consider someone seeking a part time position (30-32 hours/week).

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Heavy calendar management (for both principal and special needs adult daughter)
• Travel arrangements—bookings (travel, hotel, car, private plane), itineraries, etc.
• Making online purchases (Amazon, department stores, grocery store, etc.)
• Detailed bookkeeping & expense management—personal finances, budgeting, balancing checkbooks, track incoming tax-related items & interacting with tax accountants, financial advisors, etc. (through knowledge of Quicken is essential)
• Communicate effectively with staff (1 full-time housekeeper) and personal contacts as well as visitors and vendors
• Contact & oversee vendors/contractors
• Arrange social events
• Troubleshoot computers & other electronic equipment
• Keep home office in good condition
• Maintain and update household systems
• Run household errands
• Occasional transportation & scheduling car service (to and from work 3 days per week) for daughter who lives 3 miles away
• Petcare (1 small dog)

Job Requirements

• Strong command of English language; superb communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 5 years related experience working in a similar role for a private estate or company
• Bookkeeping experience - Through knowledge of Quicken software & Excel
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; above and beyond attitude
• Ability to multi-task and respond to rapidly changing priorities
• Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to occasionally work longer hours
• Intelligent and resourceful—able to anticipate needs, be proactive, and prioritize tasks
• Tech savvy with proficiency in both Mac & PC systems, strong Excel skills, adept in operating smart home technology
• Comfortable working in a home office setting
• Energetic and patient, problem-solver, proactive
• Legally able to work in the United States

Compensation: Negotiable Based On Experience
