A repeat client in Tyrone is seeking an energetic, engaging, organized and experienced Nanny to care for 11-year-old twin girls. This is an excellent one-year contract opportunity for a professional who enjoys working with school-aged children, thrives in a structured environment and is committed to helping children succeed both academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will be a positive role model who can build a genuine connection with the twins while providing consistency, encouragement and guidance. The family also employs additional household staff (placed through the agency), so we're looking for someone who is a true team player, communicates well and works collaboratively and respectfully with others.
This position is guaranteed at 40 hours of pay each week, although most weeks the schedule will average 32 working hours. In addition, if the family eliminates the position during the one-year contract without cause, the nanny will receive an exceptional six-month severance package.

Responsibilities Include:
Transportation & Logistics
• School Pickup: Meet the twins after school or pick them up at the bus stop in Tyrone.
• Activity Driving: Safely transport them to after-school sports practices and music lessons.
• Schedule Management: Keep track of the family calendar, appointments and changing extracurricular routines .
Homework & Academic Support
• Homework Oversight: Provide a structured environment for the twins to complete assignments.
• Project Assistance: Help with long-term projects and study for upcoming tests.
• Reading & Skill Building: Encourage daily reading and practice
Meal Preparation
• After-School Snacks: Prepare nutritious, post-school snacks for twins.
• Dinner Prep: Handle light family meal prep or cook simple, kid-friendly dinners.
• Kitchen Cleanup: Wipe down counters, load the dishwasher and clean up after snack or meal times.
Life Skills & Mentorship
• Role Model: Serve as a positive, reliable mentor who enforces household rules.
• Teaching Independence: Guide the twins in doing their own chores, such as making their beds and managing their backpacks, etc.
Household Management
• Children’s Laundry: Wash, fold and put away the twins' clothes and sports uniforms.
• Tidying Up: Keep the common areas, game rooms and the twins' bedrooms organized.
• Family Errands: Run child-related errands, such as picking up groceries or school supplies.
Typical Daily Schedule – Monday – Thursday (Fridays off)
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Household tasks, organization, laundry, dinner prep, and running child-related errands.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: School pickup, driving home or to activities, and serving afternoon snacks.
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Homework oversight, activity drop-offs/pickups, and guiding chore routines.
6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: After dinner, cleaning up the kitchen, and winding down from the day.
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Managing the bedtime routine, room tidying, and prepping for the next school day.
Qualifications
• Professional nanny experience with school-aged children.
• Energetic, engaging, patient and highly organized.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with additional household staff.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Outstanding references and a stable employment history.
• CPR certification is preferred.
