A private family in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a kind, upbeat Housekeeper/Cook to provide full-service cleaning & cooking for a family of 4. This is a full-time, live-out or live in position Monday- Friday, 9am – 5pm. The family seeks someone proactive, communicative, and efficient to contribute to the congenial atmosphere of their home. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills and able to perform all housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, light ironing, making beds, daily health conscious meal preparation, grocery shopping, etc. Family will provide either their beach home or rent an apartment for the right candidate.
Candidates must possess the following to be considered for this position:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong command of the English language; superior communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; excellent judgmental and multitask management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, and home organization
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use utmost discretion at all times
• Excellent health-conscious cooking skills
