Position Title: House Manager
Schedule: 40 hours per week with flexible start and end times. General expectation is 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Thursday and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Fridays.
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client’s household (7,000 sq. ft.). The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and capable of managing various tasks related to household maintenance, light childcare, and errands.
Responsibilities:
• Household Management:
o Clean the house thoroughly, including both deep cleaning and light cleaning tasks.
o Perform laundry/ironing duties for the household.
o Run errands, primarily grocery shopping and other tasks as needed.
o Manage household supplies and ensure everything is well-stocked and organized.
• Childcare:
o Occasionally pick up and drop off for a 12-year-old girl for her activities during the week. Most days, she will ride the bus home. Client has her every other week.
o Be available to help with her needs every other week, although she is largely self-sufficient.
• Additional Duties:
o Be prepared for a flexible level of involvement with the newborn, adjusting to the family’s needs as they evolve – Mom is due in August.
o Provide support to the family in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing schedules and tasks.
Requirements:
• Experience: Prior experience in a similar role preferred, with a strong emphasis on housekeeping.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to manage household tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed at IRS rates.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adjust working hours with advance notice to accommodate the family’s schedule.
• Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness.
• Long Term: Looking for long term employment 10+ years.
