Position: Caregiver & Household Assistant (Live In while on duty)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: Suwanee, GA

Job Overview:
A dedicated and compassionate caregiver is needed to promote feelings of warmth, confidence, and security for a 30-year-old special needs son who is autistic and has cerebral palsy. Additionally, the caregiver will assist the Estate Manager with duties around the estate. The caregiver must be comfortable working in a household with staff and reporting directly to the Estate Manager.

Schedule:
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 12:00pm-10:00pm

Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate and attentive care to the special needs son, ensuring his safety and well-being.
• Promote feelings of warmth, confidence, and security for the special needs son.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Plan & participate in appropriate fun and education learning/developmental activities (examples, building motor/learning skills, walks, trips to the park, zoo, arts/crafts, etc.).
• Administer medications and follow medical care plans as prescribed.
• Assist with school pick ups and transport to extra-curricular activities (vehicle provided).
• Communicate regularly with the family and Estate Manager about the son’s needs.
• Support the Estate Manager in coordinating with other household staff to ensure a smooth and efficient household operation - assist with light housekeeping, laundry, light meal preparation, household events/parties, home organization, etc.
• Perform errands and other tasks as assigned by the Estate Manager.

Requirements:
• No prior experience required; however, verified experience is preferred. Verified employment references and longevity in prior position/s a plus. All candidate must undergo a thorough background check. Training will be provided on site by Estate Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with household staff and under the direction of the Estate Manager as well as the Principals.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate.
• Must be able to commit to the full work schedule and be flexible with hours as needed.
• Excellent driving history.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Live In Accommodation:
Beautiful and spacious apartment (2-bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living area) provided during scheduled working hours.

Compensation: Negotiable Based On Experience plus benefits
