Our client is seeking an exceptionally polished and experienced House Manager to oversee the seamless day-to-day operations of a 12,000 square foot private estate. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in private household or estate management, ideally within a luxury residence serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth principals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a strong service mindset, excellent leadership abilities, and a meticulous eye for detail. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the residence, property, household staff, and all household systems are maintained to the highest standards of excellence.

Position Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily household operations to ensure the home functions smoothly, efficiently, and to impeccable standards
Supervise and direct a team of 7 household staff (2 nannies, 3 housekeeper, private chef), including oversight of performance, daily responsibilities, and scheduling
Develop and manage staff schedules, coverage, time-off coordination, and workflow priorities
Conduct regular walk-throughs of the residence and grounds to proactively identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and presentation standards
Coordinate and manage all household vendors, service professionals, contractors, and maintenance providers
Maintain strong relationships with preferred vendors and ensure quality control of all completed work
Oversee household inventory and procurement of supplies, including cleaning products, household essentials, pantry items, and specialty requests
Manage all vehicle-related needs, including routine maintenance, detailing, inspections, service appointments, and registration renewals
Execute light handyman duties, including changing light bulbs, replacing filters, minor troubleshooting, and small household repairs
Ensure all preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to for HVAC, appliances, security systems, pool/spa, and other estate systems
Maintain detailed household records, vendor contacts, warranties, service logs, and maintenance calendars
Assist principals with special projects, household logistics, and seasonal estate readiness
Oversee deliveries, package management, and household organization systems
Maintain the highest level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism

Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a House Manager, Estate Manager, or similar private service leadership role
Proven experience managing multiple household staff within a large luxury residence
Strong knowledge of estate operations, home maintenance systems, and vendor management
Hands-on, service-oriented approach with the ability to lead by example
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 40–50 pounds
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Exceptional discretion and professionalism in a private household setting

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000/year plus full benefits
