A wonderful Sandy Springs family is seeking an experienced House Manager/Family Assistant to help oversee the daily operations of their busy household. The family has three children, ages 17, 15, and 13, with the oldest heading off to college in the fall. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organized professional who enjoys creating order, managing household details and supporting an active family.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable and capable of managing responsibilities while maintaining a warm and positive presence in the home. The family is seeking someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs and enjoys becoming a trusted long-term member of the household team.
Responsibilities Include:
• Overseeing and coordinating the twice-weekly cleaning service
• Planning and coordinating family events and special occasions
• Preparing simply family meals approximately 3–4 times per week
• Home organization and household management
• School pickups and transportation to after-school activities (vehicle provided)
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Family laundry and light ironing
• Daily resetting and maintaining organization throughout the home
• Pet care for the family's sweet Bernedoodle
• Assisting with various household and family-related projects as needed
Requirements:
• Previous experience working for private families in a similar role
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience with meal preparation
• Excellent driving record
• Professional, proactive and self-directed
• Comfortable managing vendors and household service providers
• Outstanding verifiable references
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Seeking a long-term commitment with one family
Compensation: Negotiable Based On Experience
