Job #: THA146 – Caregiver

Our client has an immediate need for an experienced Live In Caregiver who will promote feelings of warmth, confidence and security to their 30-year-old special need son who is Autistic and who has Cerebral Palsy. The ideal candidate (client's preference is a man) will provide companionship and support with daily life activities, administer medication, plan & participate in appropriate fun and education learning/developmental activities (examples, building motor/learning skills, walks, trips to the park, zoo, arts/crafts, etc.). Additionally, you will be required to do school pick-ups, assist with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as needed. The schedule is Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 1:00pm-9:00pm & Saturday/Sunday, 11:00am-9:00pm. Flexibility is also needed in this position and someone who enjoys traveling.

The client is ideally looking for a caring, trustworthy, dynamic, reliable Caregiver who has excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence with the ability to adapt to their son's varying needs. Someone who is truly passionate and enjoys their work. This young man has a wonderful personality and enjoys bowling, educational discovery & exploration. This is a fully staffed home that will require someone who has a team player mentality. You will report directly to the EM.

Live-in accommodations are beautiful and located inside the client's home, (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchenette, living area and separate entrance). Interested candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, have excellent verifiable references and excellent driving history.

Live -out candidate may be considered for the position depending on your experience and flexibility.

Immediate Hire!

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 plus benefits
