o Supervise and manage the chef and housekeeper, ensuring tasks are being completed efficiently and to the family’s standards.
o Create and implement systems to organize and streamline household duties, including managing the fine clothing care protocols for Mrs. (extensive wardrobe) and instructing housekeeper on proper care.
o Handle personal errands & assist with coordinating personal gifts, purchases, returns and/or special events (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).
o Organize and track receipts and financial documents to provide to Estate Manager

Family & Calendar Management:

o Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for the family, including children’s activities and appointments.
o Coordinate the Mrs. business appointments, meeting and personal events.

Travel Coordination:
o Assist with travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for family members (primarily for Mrs.'s frequent work travel).
o Anticipate travel needs and ensure logistics are in place (pet sitters, mail holds, deliveries paused, etc.) prior to travel.

Pet and Animal Care:
o Oversee care of the family’s pets, including 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 25 chickens, ensuring that all pets are properly cared for during family absences (arrange pet-sitting services, dog walkers, etc.).

Proactive Planning:
o Stay three steps ahead of the family’s needs, anticipating challenges and proactively resolving issues (e.g., managing household logistics, handling maintenance, etc.).
o Ensure household supplies are stocked and any necessary repairs or services are addressed promptly.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Experience:
o A minimum of 5 years of experience as a House Manager in a similar role within a private household, with verifiable references.
o Strong background in managing high-end properties, staff, and complex household needs.

Skills:

o Be proactive and anticipate needs before they arise.
o Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise household staff effectively.
o Experience managing household & business calendars, travel arrangements, and overall family logistics.
o Comfortable working in a busy household.
o Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities or unexpected changes.
o Able to work independently.

Additional Requirements:
o Ability to work with discretion and handle confidential matters professionally.
o Comfortable reporting directly to the Estate Manager (EM) in the family office.
