Location: Serenbe, GA
Schedule: 20 hours per week, M-F (client is flexible with daily scheduling)
Compensation: $40.00 per hour
Position Overview:
Our Serenbe client has an immediate need for a reliable, detail-oriented Household Assistant to support the smooth operation of their 5500 s.f home and second residence 900s.f. (used primarily for guest & business clients). This role requires excellent organizational skills, initiative, and a proactive approach to both routine and occasional household needs. The ideal candidate is pet-friendly(1 dog) & child friendly (2 school aged girls), respectful of privacy, and experienced in maintaining a tidy, well-managed home.

Key Responsibilities:
Household Organization & Maintenance
• Maintain and update Instacart grocery list – receive and pay away grocery deliveries
• Organize pantry and refresh paper products as needed
• Tidy main living areas and garage to ensure spaces are clean and presentable
• Clean and maintain light fixtures (e.g., island pendant lights)
• Wipe down kitchen counters and stovetop regularly
• Empty/load dishwasher daily
• Clean out refrigerator weekly or as needed
• Take out trash and recycling; ensure bins are ready for pickup
• Refill drinks and pet water daily
Laundry & Wardrobe Care
• Manage all household laundry including towels—wash, dry, fold, and put away
• Iron girls’ school uniforms during the academic year
• Drop off, pick up, and organize dry cleaning
Pet & Plant Care
• Plan dog daycare and boarding around family vacations
• Refresh dog water and wash dog bed regularly
• Water plants during periods of absence
Gift & Errand Management
• Purchase, wrap, and organize gifts for various occasions
• Handle shopping returns and related errands
Home Oversight & Scheduling
• Oversee routine 1x/week cleaning service (not perform it)
• Schedule cleaning service for cottage and ensure the cottage is cleaned, well-stocked, and guest ready prior to arrivals.
• Restock toiletries, lay out fresh towel, and ensure all amenities are in place for cottage for a comfortable guest stay.
• Manage weekly flower delivery service
• Oversee service providers (as needed)
Occasional/Seasonal Duties
• Wash duvet covers periodically
• Wipe down and sweep the screened porch regularly

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a similar household support or personal assistant role preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Trustworthy and respectful of family privacy
• Comfortable around dogs and able to support pet care needs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to run errands as needed
• Looking for a long term commitment
