Now Hiring: Experienced House Manager/Family Assistant – Buckhead
Schedule: Monday – Friday (during the school year) Mon: 12 PM to 6 PM, Tue/Thur: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Wed: 12 PM - 8 PM & Fri: half day (when children are not involved in afterschool activities work schedule is 11am-7pm)
Note: School year schedule changes depending on what activities the children are involved in
Flexibility is required for occasional schedule changes
Some weeks may allow for an earlier shift on Fridays, depending on the family's schedule (family willing to guarantee 40 hours per week)
A busy family of five with two full time working parents and three school aged children is seeking a skilled, proactive, and long-term House Manager/Family Assistant to support their home and family life. The parents both work full-time outside the home, and their children are actively involved in after-school sports and activities.
Position Overview:
This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and who can manage the moving parts of a busy family home - organizing tasks, preparing healthy meals and keeping everything running smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Prepare healthy, family-style dinners and snacks each weekday
• Reset the home daily – tidy common areas, restock essentials, (light housekeeping tasks)
• Assist with laundry & light ironing
• Oversee weekly cleaning service
• Light vendor and household management – schedule repairs, deliveries, and maintenance
• Handle returns, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with home organization projects and seasonal closet changes
• Assist parents with driving to afterschool activities as needed (family vehicle provided)
• Offer occasional flexibility when children are home sick from school or parents are traveling - you will receive advance notice of their travel schedules to allow for planning - (no overnights required)
• Petcare (2 cats & a new puppy)
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Prior experience as a House Manager or Family Assistant in a similar household
• Excellent cooking skills (simply meals) with a focus on healthy meals for children and parents
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
• Confidence to take charge while also being respectful of the family’s preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• A clean driving record
• Excellent swimmer (family has a pool)
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience. Long-term commitment preferred.
